Frankie Boyle Believes in Inherited Sin

Another day, another article attacking people who have genuine concerns about mass immigration and in true tradition the article comes from someone who is so far removed from being affected by these issues, someone who can at the end of a day’s work retire to their nice suburban home that you could almost forgive them for their ignorance.

But like most people on the left Mr Boyle opted to open the article with an insulting backhander in the face of his opponents by describing their opinions as ‘criminally stupid’. The irony is that the great majority of his arguments rely upon the guilt of people who are alive today, which had nothing to do with empire, to inherit the sins of their fore fathers and take the blame for crimes they themselves did not commit. Like most people who have weak arguments Mr Boyle beefs it up by saturating his ‘points’ with jokes and humour, not something I would recommend doing when discussing immigration which is an intensely serious subject that should never be met with the degree of levity that is seen throughout his article.

The British Empire was a very cruel institution and as Mr Boyle quite rightly points out; ‘you must understand and acknowledge history’. Logic tells you however that Empire has been a sign of the times continuously for nations over the last 4,000 years and come to think about it so has slavery. Many of the Nations Mr Boyle is referring to don’t need to reminisce about the British enslaving them, many of them like India still have prevalent caste systems even now. It took about 3,700 years since the earliest accounts of slavery in the Code of Hammurabi (1754bc) for the European countries to be the first in history to finally abolish and outlaw it, surely the fact that Britain played a huge role in this triumph is actually something to be proud of?

Perhaps the most puzzling part of the article is that Mr Boyle seems to think we feel no shame for our past; this is just an outright fantasy. We are constantly being told by the left wing progressives that have now infected most of our institutions and in particular the universities, that we should feel guilty for our past. It was only a short while ago I watched a young lady on question time tell the panel just this and it was met with a strong round of applause, I’m sure if Peter Hitchens (One of the panellists) had felt it necessary to point out this false dichotomy of inherited sin he would have done so but in honesty it’s just so painfully obvious to the thinking man that it didn’t even deserve a reply. The evidence that the progressive liberals have shaped conventional wisdom is staggering, Britain is simply no longer a patriotic country and this is mainly due to the fact that we have been told repeatedly that this is not acceptable because of our history. If this were not true UKIP would hold considerably more votes than the meagre 10-13% that they are currently polling and there wouldn’t be nationalist parties springing to life in the other member states of the UK seeking independence. These people simply can’t understand that they have already won.

If comparing the import of tea and coffee in 2015 to slavery and imperialism it is fair then perhaps that Mr Boyle should examine himself a little. The overtly anti-political correctness of his stand up comedy is a stark contrast of the progressive ideology he has chosen to follow. In other words, Mr Boyle’s politics is bitterly opposed to his own career. This comes as no surprise as many on the left choose to shape their beliefs based on what benefits themselves rather than the country. Maybe it’s time for him to start practicing what he preaches, if we are being reminded of slavery from the few street names that are named after 18th century slave owners then maybe Mr Boyle should think about changing his name via deed poll. Because every time I type or hear his name I am sadly reminded of the disgusting history that is the Bubonic plague.
